Tummy Tuck, Breast Reduction and Liposuction<\/p>\n

Background<\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019m a fit 50 year old; I exercise frequently and I am always active. Cycling and keeping fit are a part of my lifestyle, so I feel healthy. Yet over the years I had put on weight, lost it again and put it on again \u2013 really I guess part of the aging process.<\/p>\n

Despite my active lifestyle and my ability to shift weight when I put it on, my body just didn\u2019t make me feel good about myself. I had been meaning to have a tummy tuck about 10 years ago, and I wish I had done it then, but it was only now that I went for it.<\/p>\n

My consultation was excellent. Dr. Marco Vricella discussed the options, risks and benefits. He suggested I also go ahead with a breast reduction and some liposuction, as he could understand that I wanted an overall a better look, and I might as well have the procedures done at the same time.<\/p>\n

I have to say I didn\u2019t think too much about the surgery; once I had decided to go ahead with it that was it. I had decided and didn\u2019t want to think more about it or worry about it.<\/p>\n

Procedures<\/strong><\/p>\n

I waited a few months before going ahead with the operation as I needed to save more money, as of course having three procedures was more expensive. The day of the op went really well, although as always I was sick after the op due to my established reaction the anesthetic, but that was over quickly. I then remained at the HC Hospital for 3 nights in my private room. The hospital is lovely, so luxurious and more than anything the team there are lovely.<\/p>\n

I wasn\u2019t in any real pain afterwards. I\u2019m not sure if I have a higher pain threshold than most, or if it was because I am fit, but really I wasn\u2019t in pain. I was in some discomfort, but really I felt perfectly okay.<\/p>\n

I took a few weeks off work, and then extended that by a further 2 weeks \u2013 I think I got back to my normal life too quickly so maybe I overdid it slightly, so I took the doctor\u2019s advice and remained off work for a little longer.<\/p>\n

Aftercare<\/strong><\/p>\n

Now, after few months I look and feel great \u2013 I have even been on an activity holiday. Shortly after the procedure I went back to Marbella to have the stitches out but thereafter, all my checkups and follow-ups were in Gibraltar which has been really convenient for me.<\/p>\n

Results<\/strong><\/p>\n

Everyone can see the difference!\u00a0 I of course look slimmer and I can tell you, my husband is very happy! I\u2019m telling my close friends about the cosmetic surgery \u2013 I am so proud of it!
